New Faces in Leadership

Please join us in welcoming three new members of the Central Community House leadership team.

We’re so excited to announce three new(ish) members of our already stacked leadership team. Each of them brings their own specialty knowledge they’re going to bring to the table and Central Community House is so lucky to have them.

In September 2023, Amber Aitken joined CCH's leadership team as the Development Director, bringing with her an array of experiences in leadership, fundraising, marketing, and HR. Her primary goal is to secure funding to bolster CCH's diverse programming and cultivate corporate partnerships to further our mission.

In February of 2024, both Dauntea Sledge and David Cooper joined the leadership team as well.

Dauntea, who has served as the Youth Program Manager for just over three years, will now assume the role of Director of Youth and Family Services at CCH. In his new capacity, he will oversee multiple programs aimed at enhancing the impact of our youth and family initiatives, with a particular emphasis on extending our reach to better serve our community.

David, who has served as the Strong Families Program Manager for just under three years, will now be elevated to the position of Director of Outreach and Engagement. In his new role, David will not only focus on raising awareness of CCH programming but will also lead community engagement efforts aimed at fostering meaningful connections and partnerships within the community.

Central Community House is entering an exciting phase, and the contributions of our three new leaders will undoubtedly make a positive impact and shape the way Central Community House interacts in and for this neighborhood. We look forward to the tangible impact their work will have on our community.
